Terms of service

Last updated: 19 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy from MM Detailing through our website. By placing an order you agree to them. If anything is unclear, please ask before you order.

1. Who we are

Max Murdock, trading as MM Detailing, a sole trader. Our address is 224D Shore Road, Greenisland, Carrickfergus BT38 8TX. VAT number: 521656305. You can contact us at Majm15106@gmail.com or 07927696007.

2. Our products

Product pages describe each product, including its price and, where relevant, which vehicles it suits. Photos are a guide, and colours and finishes can look slightly different on your screen. Our products are vehicle-specific, so please check the fitment details on the product page before you order, and contact us if you are unsure.

3. Orders and payment

  • Your order is an offer to buy. Our contract with you starts when we send you a dispatch confirmation. Until then, we may decline your order, for example if an item is out of stock or the price shown was an obvious error. If we decline an order you have paid for, we refund you in full.
  • Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • You pay when you place your order, using the payment methods shown at checkout.

4. Delivery

Delivery is covered by our Shipping policy. Products stay at our risk until they are delivered to you, and they become yours once we have received full payment.

5. Cancelling and returns

Your right to cancel an order, and how returns and refunds work, are set out in our Return and refund policy. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.

6. Our responsibility to you

  • By law, our products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for their purpose and as described. If they are not, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, explained in our Return and refund policy.
  • We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage that we cause by breaking these terms or by our negligence. Loss is foreseeable if it is an obvious result, or if you and we both knew it could happen when the contract was made.
  • We only sell products for private use. We are not liable for loss of profit or other business losses.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for defective products, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

7. Events outside our control

If something outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, a transport disruption or a supplier failure, delays or stops us delivering your order, we will tell you. If we cannot deliver within a reasonable time, you can cancel the order and we will refund anything you have paid for it.

8. Using our website

The content on this website belongs to us or is used with permission, and you may not copy it without our written permission. We try to keep the information accurate, but prices and availability can change. We are not responsible for other websites we link to.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with anything, contact us first at Majm15106@gmail.com or 07927696007 and we will try to put it right. You can also get free, independent advice from Citizens Advice or the Consumer Council for Northern Ireland.

10. Other terms

These terms and our policies make up the whole agreement between us. If any part is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms, and the version in force when you order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland. If you are a consumer living in the UK, you can also bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
